Overview
The current Skills and Interests Surveys, hosted by CIS360​, will soon be replaced by the new Illinois workNet Interest Profiler. In the coming months, we will phase out the current CIS Skills and Interests Surveys as we introduce a new tool specifically designed for Illinois workNet.

While the CIS Skills and Interest Surveys will still be available through the Illinois Career Information System (CIS), which is provided by the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES), they will no longer be connected to your Illinois workNet account once the new Interest Profiler is launched.

We are excited to offer new online short questionnaires that will help you discover your work-related interests and explore career options that are a good fit for you.

Webinar
Join us on April 21, 2026 at 11:00am for a webinar about upcoming changes to the Skills and Interests Surveys. Illinois workNet users and partners are invited to learn what to expect as the Skills and Interests Surveys are phased out and the new Interest Profiler becomes available, including key dates and necessary actions to prepare for the change. A walkthrough will demonstrate how to download existing results from the Skills & Interests Surveys to ensure that users and partners can retain information. The recording will be posted to this page after the event.
