  1. Are the Skills & Interests Surveys going away?

    The Skills & Interests Surveys will still be available through the Illinois Career Information System (CIS), provided by the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES). However, once the new Interest Profiler is launched, survey results will no longer be connected to your Illinois workNet account.

  2. As a partner, will I be able to access my customer’s information for workNet’s Interest Profiler assessment?

    Yes. More details will be announced.

  3. How do I access the new workNet Interest Profiler assessment?

    Log in to your Illinois workNet account and go to My Dashboard to access the Interest Profiler once it becomes available.

  4. How do I export my results?

    • Log in to your Illinois workNet account.
    • Click Skills & Interests located in the Header (orange ribbon) to go to Illinois CIS360.
    • On the Illinois CIS360 page, click My Dashboard.
    • Click Self-Survey Results.
    • Select a survey title.
    • Click the orange Export PDF in the top right corner.
    • The survey results will be downloaded.
    • Repeat this for each survey.

    Illinois workNet recommends using the (coming soon) workNet Interest Profiler assessment as the primary alternative.

    ​Illinois workNet will replace the Skills & Interests Surveys on June 8, 2026, with more modern assessment tools designed to better support individuals and workforce partners, while aligning with the Illinois Workforce Development System (IWDS).
