    Women's Small Business Month 2021

    The month of October is Women's Small Business Month. This month is a time to recognize and support small businesses that are owned and operated by women that contribute to our communities. The Small Business Administration (SBA) connects business owners with others to plan, start, or grow their business. Learn more about the resources and opportunities offered by the SBA.

    The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) will celebrate Women's Small Business Month throughout October 2021. DCEO through its Office of Minority Economic Empowerment (OMEE) will present virtual events featuring business resources and covering important topics, spotlight women-owned businesses across the state, and showcase our commitment to growing and investing in women-owned businesses.
