Join the Chicago Jobs Council and Young Invincibles to discuss a roadmap that outlines strategies in recruiting and retaining diverse jobseekers into apprenticeship programs. Over the course of a yearlong project, supported by funding from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, the Jobs Council and Young Invincibles facilitated a series of workshops designed to expand the number of organizations leveraging apprenticeships with their job seekers. Now, supported by findings from the workshops and feedback from focus groups and other stakeholder engagement CJC & YI have identified a Third Pillar for Community Service Providers, an integral piece to the state's apprenticeship framework.
