Governor Pat Quinn has proclaimed October 13-19, 2014, as Careers In Energy Week in Illinois. This week-long celebration will highlight the need for a strong and growing energy workforce in Illinois and careers in the energy industry.
During Careers in Energy Week, students across the state will be encouraged to learn about the types of energy careers available, careers that may be expected in the future, and the importance of energy companies in the local economy.
