Step 2. Career Cluster Inventory

If you are randomly assigned to the EPIC program services, we want to help you be more successful. Selecting a training program in an area in which you are interested will help you do that. Please take some time to complete this Career Cluster Inventory (5-25 minutes) - This inventory will identify which career cluster(s) may be a good fit for you.

Why should I use them?

Knowing what you are good at and what you are interested in can help you make the best career decision. When you find a job that matches your skills and interests, you are more likely to be satisfied and find success. Employers are also more likely to notice you.

The Career Cluster Inventory takes you through questions that will help you identify your skills and interests, so you can move toward a career choice or career change.

Who should use them?

The Career Cluster Inventory Assessment is ideal for:

  • Individuals exploring careers.
  • Individuals exploring a career change.
  • Youth exploring what skills and interests they have.
  • Any individuals who want to learn more about themselves.

Career Cluster Inventory

You will rate 80 activities with these four terms: like very much, like, dislike, or not sure.
The results provide a graph indicating how your interests match up to each career cluster area. This will help you make a better selection in the training program career pathways.
