As part of the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA) ecosystem, ET Navigators help community members and organizations access training, employment, and business programs that support a more equitable transition to clean energy.

Who CEJA Programs Serve

CEJA workforce training and contractor programs focus on supporting individuals and communities historically left out of clean energy opportunities.

Programs prioritize:

Residents of Equity Investment Eligible Communities (View Map) such as:

R3 (Restore, Reinvest, Renew) areas
Environmental Justice (EJ) communities

Individuals who are:

Currently or formerly part of the foster care system
Formerly incarcerated

These eligibility criteria ensure that CEJA invests in people and communities most impacted by climate change and economic inequality.

Key Benefits to Employers

ET Navigators connect employers to participants (Equity Eligible Person (EEP)) who have completed the CEJA programs. Employers may also find qualified workers through the Illinois Power Agency’s Energy Workforce Equity Portal.
