This week is the College Changes Everything Conference. Started by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), this annual conference is an opportunity for individuals to share how their college or higher education experience has made a lasting and positive impact in their lives. The conference will provide presentations about resources that are available to increase educational access and college completion for students in Illinois. Illinois hopes to increase the number of adults in the state with higher education degrees to 60% by 2025. The College Changes Everything Conference is an important opportunity to help the state reach this number.
Topics that will be discussed include Educating During the Pandemic; Fostering Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging for the Success of All Learners; How Rehabilitation Services Help Students with Disabilities Transition to College and Work; Building Pipelines from High School to Career; and much more.
If you are interested in this conference and would like to register, read more on the College Changes Everything website. Illinois workNet will be presenting about Free Assessments for Providers and Customers at the conference.
