The week of (April 18-24) is National Volunteer Week! This is a time to reflect and appreciate the effect that volunteering has on our communities and the challenges they experience. It is also a time to recognize and appreciate those volunteers who have gone the extra mile. Since 1974, National Volunteer Week has grown to include more volunteers, projects, and events throughout the country. For more information on how you can celebrate National Volunteer Week and find volunteering events near you view the official website.
