Accessibility Statement

The overall goal of the Illinois workNet Portal is to create Web content that meets the needs of all users and is accessible to the broadest possible range of users by being compatible with a wide range of assistive technologies. 

In an effort to address these needs, the standards to which Web content is developed in the Illinois workNet Portal are based on the1998 Amendment to the Rehabilitation Act: Federal “Section 508” , World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) , and Illinois Web Accessibility Standards accessibility guidelines. 

Illinois workNet contains links to various external websites and resources throughout the Portal.  It is the goal of Illinois workNet to identify accessible external links and resources; however, Illinois workNet does not control and cannot guarantee the accessibility level and access to other websites.
