Recommended Things You Can Do Before You Are Laid Off

  • Attend a pre-layoff Help for Laid Off Worker Assistance Workshop. Individuals are highly encouraged to attend this workshop to help prepare them for your next steps.

  • Participate with a Dislocated Worker Program Application Session to determine eligibility for additional benefits and services. To participate with this session, attendance at a pre-layoff Help for Laid Off Worker Assistance Workshop is recommended. If individuals do not sign up at the pre-layoff workshops they will need to contact Diane Cooper at 630-966-1435 x 40077 or email dianecooper@kcdee.org for instructions and to register for a session.

    All sessions will be held on 3-19-09 at the company.  Your employer will schedule  your attendance. Click here to see scheduled events.
