  • Attend a pre-layoff Help for Laid Off Worker Assistance Workshop. Individuals are highly encouraged to attend this workshop to help prepare them for your next steps.

  • Participate with a Dislocated Worker Program Application Session to determine eligibility for additional benefits and services. To participate with this session, attendance at a pre-layoff Rapid Response Workshop is recommended. If individuals do not sign up at the pre-layoff workshops they will need to contact Michelle DeDecker at 630-553-8303 or email michellededecker@kcdee.org for instructions and to register for a session.

    Trade Adjustment Act Notice
    Have you recently received a notification letter from your company regarding a lay-off due to the Trade Adjustment Act?

    If yes, please contact Diane Cooper at 630-966-1435 x 40077 to schedule your attendance at a meeting explaining benefits, rights and obligations.  You can attend a meeting at either location, but you must have an appointment scheduled before you attend.

  • Low Income Energy Efficient Residential Retrofit Program

    More than $213,000 in grants will help existing low-income homeowners replace items such as refrigerators, furnaces, lighting, dishwashers and air conditioners with energy-efficient models.

    Legislation approved last year created funding for programs and incentives through money from ComEd and Ameren to reduce electrical energy usage and demand by company customers.
