Attention Employees of Anixter! Due to layoffs at this company, you are eligible for programs and services offered by the Workforce Investment Act. The Dislocated Worker program is that specific program designed to assist workers who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own, by providing transitional services and opportunities for either re-employment or provide vocational/academic training. Workshops will be held on September 22, 2009 at 7:30 a.m. & 9:00 a.m. at the company location, 11939 S. Central Ave. in Alsip,IL. These workshops are designed especially for you, to give information and support. You are also invited to visit one of the centers located in your local workforce area, to learn more about training and career opportunities available to you.
