Bureau of Child and Adolescent Health Provides programs to support the emotional health of children and youth. It helps in reducing the number of teen pregnancies, and teaches good parenting skills.
Bureau of Family Nutrition Learn about nutrition, education, and supplemental foods for needy families. It helps in reducing infant mortality rates and helps in growing health infants.
School Health Program DHS funds 39 School Health Centers. They offer routine medical care, school/sports physicals, immunizations, nutrition counseling, health education, sexually transmitted disease testing and pregnancy testing.
Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Learn how to get help for women, infants, and children. It helps them improve their health and nutrition. It also refers women to other health services and social care services.
