When you think about changing jobs, you should ask yourself several questions: Are there job openings for the job I am considering? Losing a job can be stressful.  If you are losing your job because your employer is closing the business or down-sizing, you may be eligible for programs and resources to help you transition smoothly to a new job. You can learn about your rights as a dislocated worker, assistance available to you, where to find education and training, and where to find a Resource Room to gain more information.
