Associate Degree

You responded that you have earned an Associate’s Degree from a college program. At this point, you are probably trying to decide whether to stay in your current occupation, find a different job, or upgrade your education to a Bachelor’s degree or higher.

First, try to establish a job plan within the occupation you are already trained for. A great place to look is at college and university programs: a higher education is the best investment you can make in your long-term job planning, no matter what industry you are in.

However, if you are sure that you want to change jobs, there are lots of resources available to help you in your journey. You should review wages and trends data in your region, to see which jobs are in high demand in your local economy.

    If this field of study sounds interesting to you, then you need to find out more about the Farmer Training Opportunities offered through The Upper Midwest Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training (CRAFT).

    CRAFT is a coalition of growers working to train the next generation of organic, biodynamic, and sustainable agriculture farmers.  CRAFT provides what prospective farmers say they need most: hands-on training and business planning skills provided directly from established farmers.
