Illinois Workforce Investment Board (IWIB)

The Illinois Workforce Investment Board (IWIB) functions as the State advisory board pertaining to workforce preparation policy. The IWIB ensures that Illinois' workforce preparation services and programs are coordinated and integrated; and measures and evaluates the overall performance and results of these programs. The Board is also charged with furthering cooperation between government and the private sector to meet the workforce preparation needs of Illinois' employers and workers.
