What is a WIA Certified Training Provider?

Under the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA), the State of Illinois has prepared certified training providers to help adults and dislocated workers get the education an skills training they need to find jobs they want.

Who offers training and educational programs through these services?

The statewide list of WIA certified training providers includes a variety of training and education programs offered through schools, public universities, classroom instruction, apprenticeship programs, labor unions, businesses, and community colleges.
