The focus of this module is the U.S. Workforce Investment System, which is designed to improve the quality of the nation's workforce, reduce welfare dependency, and enhance our nation's productivity. Furthermore, the workforce development program is designed to increase the employment, retention and earnings of job seekers and as a result, improve the quality of the workforce.
