Incumbent Worker Training Grantees: To access the tools and resources for the ARRA Incumbent Worker Grant, you will need to set up an Illinois workNet account. If your organization is not already an Illinois workNet partner site or you do not already have a workforce professionals account, please start with Step 1.
Step 1: If you do not already have a workforce professionals account,
- Go http://www.illinoisworknet.com/vos_portal/ql/WPPAccount.htm.
- Click on the area of the map where your office is located.
- Select your organization from the list and complete the required fields to set up your account.
If your organization is not listed, follow the next few steps to add your location to the Illinois workNet Site Management database. If you represent a business or association, your location may not have a resource room open to the general public. In that situation your location would be considered a Dissemination Site
. By completing the following steps, you will set up your location in the site management database and set up an Illinois workNet workforce professionals pathway account at the same time.
- Go to http://www.illinoisworknet.com/vos_portal/advisors/en/admin/SiteAddRequest.htm and select option one.
- Click on the area of the map where your office is located.
- Complete the required fields to set up an account and your location to the site management database.
- Once the information has been verified, the site and account will be approved.
Step 2: Log into your account and visit the
Incumbent Worker Training page located on the workforce professionals pathway resources page.
These resources include programmatic assistance, fiscal assistance, reporting requirements, Illinois workNet requirements, WIA requirements, print materials, glossary, education and training resources, and more.
Step 3: Use the
Incumbent Worker Training discussion forum to review frequently asked questions and to submit you own questions. To access the discussion forum, you must be logged into your workforce professionals account.
