Certified Illinois workNet Advisor (CIWA) Foundation Course: At a Glance

Prerequesites:


Course Units:
1) Using Illinois workNet
2) Using the Illinois workNet Key Sectors Pathway
3) Conducting a Job Search
4) Locating Education, Training, and Services
Each unit is composed of lessons with five-question quizzes that are not graded and at least one learning activity. Each of the three units includes a unit quiz with ten questions that are graded. A passing score of 80%, based only upon unit quizzes, is required to pass the course.

Average Completion Time: Five hours

Upon successful completion of the course:
Receive a Certified Illinois workNet Advisor Certificate
Earn one Continuing Education Unit from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Department of Continuing Education.
Access to the course for one year.
