Helping Mature Job Seekers Find Employment

We all know it, and some of us will soon be part of it. The percentage of ‘mature’ citizens is growing. According to statistics released by the US Census Bureau in June 2009, there are 39 million persons who are 65 years of age or more in the United States. The Census Bureau predicts the number to jump 40% in five years. When these statistics are viewed in conjunction with those released by the Bureau of Labor, it shows that helping the senior population (those 55+) find employment is imperative. BLS statistics show two million unemployed persons in this demographic.
