Take action, and contact your Representative. Let them know how and why Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Link opens in a new window matters to you and tell your WIA employment and training success story.

Two outcomes of reauthorization Link opens in a new window of the WIA Act should be to strengthen the ability of local providers to deliver services, while also encouraging local innovation.

Recommended Steps to Take Action/Get Involved

Follow the steps below to contact your Representative and tell them why this issue matters to you:

Download the Letter template (MS Word) address it to your Illinois State Delegates, and personalize the letter with a paragraph about why this issue matters to you. Type your name and return address, print it out and sign the letter (above your typed name). Print out Checklist (PDF), complete it and send with your personalized letters.

Make contact by mailing the letter and checklist to your Illinois State Delegates.
