Warehousing and Distribution Center Operations

In the Warehousing and Distribution Center Operations pathway, employees work at parts, terminals, or warehouses. You would receive, sort, label, and load products. Your job is to make sure items from all over the world are delivered to the right place on time.

  • Cargo and Freight Agents
    Transportation agents coordinate the movement of freight, mail, baggage, and passengers at airports.
  • Cargo Handlers
    Freight handlers move materials from one spot to another, such as into and out of trucks.
  • Distribution Managers
    Storage and transportation managers direct the pickup, transport, and storage of goods.
  • Freight Handlers
    Freight handlers move materials from one spot to another, such as into and out of trucks.
  • Loaders
    Tank car, truck, and ship loaders pump liquids from storage tanks to vehicles.
  • Longshoremen
    Freight handlers move materials from one spot to another, such as into and out of trucks.
  • Riggers
    Riggers use ropes, pulleys, and other gear to move large or heavy items.
  • Routing Agents
    Transportation agents coordinate the movement of freight, mail, baggage, and passengers at airports.
  • Ship Loaders
    Tank car, truck, and ship loaders pump liquids from storage tanks to vehicles.
  • Shipping Agents
    Transportation agents coordinate the movement of freight, mail, baggage, and passengers at airports.
  • Stevedores
    Freight handlers move materials from one spot to another, such as into and out of trucks.
  • Storage and Transportation Managers
    Storage and transportation managers direct the pickup, transport, and storage of goods.
  • Tank Car, Truck, and Ship Loaders
    Tank car, truck, and ship loaders pump liquids from storage tanks to vehicles.
