After an education or training program is selected, a menu specific to the education or training program will be displayed on the left under Occupational Training Programs.
Once an education or training program is selected, the education or training program menu may be removed by clicking on the Remove menu link at the bottom of the menu list.
The hierarchy for qualification is the Regional Demand(the occupation had a entry wage equal to or greaterthan 90% of the Economic Development Region (EDR) negotiatedwage as an average of all LWIA’s in the EDR AND atleast 25 annual average job openings in the EDR);State Wide (the occupation qualified for at least5 of the Regional Demands and thus was added to allten EDR lists); Career Cluster (the occupation islisted on at least one of the six career clustersIllinois has identified as priority [data is availableunder the career clusters on the The NationalAssociation of State Directors of Career TechnicalEducation Consortium website at ]), and RegionalRequest (an LWIA received approval of a request toadd an occupation code to its EDR list based on substantiativedata and information supporting a need in the region).NOTE: Only those occupations with a Source of RegionalDemand or State Wide will be eligible for incentivebonus award under the Minimum Training Expenditurepolicy requirements.
