Health Care

Health Information

You would be responsible for compiling patient information and records in the Health Information pathway. You might also use the records to create bills for services. Included in this pathway are administrators who plan and direct the delivery of health care. You may manage hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, or departments.
Now, select one of the following occupations. 
  • Certified Medical Assistants
    Medical assistants help care for patients. They carry out routine treatments, conduct lab tests, and maintain office records.
  • CMA

  • Health Information Technicians
    Health information technicians collect, code, and maintain medical information about patients.
  • Health Services Administrators
    Health services administrators plan and direct the delivery of health care.
  • Hospital Administrators
    Health services administrators plan and direct the delivery of health care.
  • Medical Assistants
    Medical assistants help care for patients. They carry out routine treatments, conduct lab tests, and maintain office records.
  • Medical Records Administrators
    Health services administrators plan and direct the delivery of health care.
  • Medical Records Technicians
    Health information technicians collect, code, and maintain medical information about patients.
  • Medical Transcriptionists
    Medical transcriptionists listen to taped recordings of medical procedures and doctors’ visits and transcribe them into organized reports.
  • Nursing Home Administrators
    Health services administrators plan and direct the delivery of health care.
  • Ophthalmic Assistants
    Medical assistants help care for patients. They carry out routine treatments, conduct lab tests, and maintain office records.
  • Pharmacy Aides
    Pharmacy aides help pharmacists with clerical duties.
  • Rehabilitation Services Administrators
    Health services administrators plan and direct the delivery of health care.
