Natural Resources

In the Natural Resources pathway, you could perform a variety of tasks. Forests and rangelands supply wood products, livestock forage, minerals, and water. They also serve as sites for recreational activities and provide homes for wildlife. You would manage, develop, and help protect the forests and rangelands and other resources.
Now, select one of the following occupations. 
  • Buckers and Fallers
    Loggers work in teams to build and repair roads, clear brush, cut and buck trees, and move logs to mills and shipyards.
  • Choker Setters

  • Continuous Mining Machine Operators

  • Forestry Technicians
    Forestry technicians help develop and protect forests.
  • Game Wardens

    Log graders and scalers estimate the market value of logs.
